All the beaches in North Devon are glorious, golden sandy beaches and all are within 15-20 mins from us: Saunton, Croyde, Putsborough & Woolacombe are the favourites. Lee Bay is great for rock pooling & Crow Point is perfect for those with dogs!
Here are some other ideas of things to do while you are in North Devon and what we think of them.

The Big Sheep
A fun day out for all the family, good for all ages even for the very young, stop in Appledore for a Hockings ice cream on the way back!

Learn to surf
Soooo much fun! Surf schools at all the main beaches try this one. We have plenty of space to store bikes, surfboards and golf clubs. Nick Thorn is the best (in my opinion) surf coach around.
